- Phoenix-Mesa, AZ (1888PressRelease) June 25, 2011 - Green Fuel Technologies and the Phoenix Community Development Investment
Corporation (PCDIC) are partnering for their Summer Youth Employment Program funded by PCDIC. Green Fuel is elated to provide a professional environment for young adults between the ages of 14 and 24. It allows them to gain valuable work experience and develop skills in the
areas of communication, organization and other business practices.
Green Fuel Technologies was established in 1999 and is a renowned renewable energy company in the Valley that specializes in residential and commercial solar PV installations. The company is committed to giving back to youth in Phoenix according to its mission of providing
"Solutions today for generations of tomorrow." In support of that mission, PCDIC, a non-profit corporation, has provided a grant for the Summer Youth Employment Program. The Arizona Opportunities Industrialization Center utilizes these funds to prepare the participants with work readiness training prior to being placed with a company, where they will be paid for their hard
work.
The Summer Youth Employment Program allows mentorship in different industries of interest to the young adults. Having positive role models helps establish a strong work ethic among the youth members, which increases their potential to get jobs in the industries that they are pursuing. Green Fuel's Summer Youth Employment Program initiatives endeavor to provide education and insight into the world of renewable energy and develop new talent that can push the envelope for innovation in the solar trade.
Green Fuel has had great success with the program and looks forward to participating this summer. For more information please contact Kristy Litten, Marketing Coordinator Green Fuel Technologies at 602-269-9206 or klitten ( @ ) greenfuelaz dot com or visit www dot greenfuelsolar dot com dot
