- (1888PressRelease) May 05, 2012 - Greater Noida Institution of Technology (GNIT), a premier institution in Technical and Management Education, today announced a unique partnership to provide Skill Enhancement Programs, to make students ready to be employed by industry. The program will be run in partnership with PurpleLeap, a Pearson Educomp Company and a pioneer in entry level talent management. Students will undergo training at the PurpleLeap Atrium for Career Excellence (PL-ACE) set up inside the campus. This partnership will function as a one-stop solution for Career Management and Skill Development of students as well as Training and Placement for college. The program is expected to immediately benefit students from GNIT.
Backed by Pearson, a world leader in Education and Educomp Solutions Ltd., the country's largest technology driven Education Company, PurpleLeap's core strength lies in delivering training in colleges by setting up technology-driven career centres that help combine academic learning with insightful skill-building for industry application. The PL ACE (PurpleLeap Atrium for Career Excellence) training program is mapped to entry-level roles across software development, telecom, IT infrastructure management, embedded systems, robotics and design. The program focuses on training students on technical domains as well as organizational skills such as communication and problem solving. PurpleLeap also brings in corporate partnerships to ensure that students from GNIT will have more and better opportunities for employment in industry.
