Grassroots Movement Raises Awareness of Negative Effects of Infidelity
For many individuals infidelity is a way of life. However, Founder of Infidelity Speaks Awareness Day, Christina Ferguson, is taking a stand against this type of behavior by raising awareness of the negative effects on individuals, families, children, and communities.
- Washington, DC-MD-VA-WV (1888PressRelease) May 20, 2016 - Over 44 million individuals have subscribed to an online dating site that promotes infidelity. Statistics indicate that one or both spouses admit to infidelity in 41 percent of marriages. Fed up with the prevalence, normalization, and acceptance of infidelity, Christina Ferguson, certified professional coach and author, is committed to bringing awareness to the emotional and psychological effects of this behavior through the Infidelity Speaks Movement. Following a separation, reconciliation, counseling, and an ultimate divorce resulting from infidelity, Ferguson has been using her life-changing experiences to help others who might suffer in silence as a result of infidelity.
"Rise Up and Raise Awareness: Infidelity Hurts" is the theme for the second annual Infidelity Speaks Awareness Day to be held on May 28, 2016 in Washington, D.C. Christina says, "Infidelity hurts, and it is time that we stand up and speak out as we bring awareness to such a devastating topic that I consider an epidemic."
