Grainger Recognizes Georgia-Pacific Professional for Environmental and Operational Excellence
Georgia-Pacific Professional was recently presented Green Supplier of the Year and an award for operations excellence from Grainger, North American's leading distributor of facilities maintenance supplies, at its annual Partners in Performance awards ceremony.
- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) February 18, 2011 - Grainger recently presented Georgia-Pacific Professional with two Partners in Performance Awards for 2010 at Grainger's annual supplier conference held recently in Schaumburg, Ill. Georgia-Pacific Professional earned both the Green Supplier of the Year and an award for operational excellence. Grainger, North America's leading distributor of facilities maintenance supplies, presents awards annually to a select group of suppliers for outstanding performance throughout the year.
Grainger's Partners in Performance Award recognizes suppliers who achieve excellence in several categories, including responsiveness, information integrity, on time shipping and variability, management commitment and order fulfillment. Grainger suppliers receive ratings throughout the year for their performance in each of these categories. Out of Grainger's 3,000 suppliers, only 25 are chosen to receive these annual awards.
