- Jersey City, NJ (1888PressRelease) October 12, 2012 - Google Maps Street View is coming to Jersey City from Oct. 15 - Nov. 4 for a new project that will capture the interiors of qualified businesses and add them to Google Street View.
Google Maps is now taking Street View Inside Businesses with a New program designed to bring the technology into Business locations. The official title for the new program is "Google Business Photos" and it lets the public take a look at the inside of a business as they search and shop on the internet. According to Anthony from Black Paw Photo, a Certified Google Trusted Photographer, only a limited number of business locations may be included during their visit to Jersey City. If a business owner is interested, they should register online as soon as possible to participate in the program.
The Wicked Wolf Tavern, a popular nearby sports pub on the Hoboken waterfront, is one of several New Jersey businesses that have already participated in Google Business Photos. To see a complete list of businesses near Jersey City that have added the service and to register your business, go to: http://www.insidebusinessnyc.com/jerseycity/
Using Google Street View technology, Anthony and Black Paw Photo's team of Certified Google Photographers will create a 360-degree Virtual Tour of business locations. The Virtual Tour begins on the street and progress in and throughout the business. The Virtual Tour works just like Google Street View, but gives views of the interior of the business location. This provides an interactive multimedia experience for consumers as they pan 360 degrees up and down, click through, and even zoom in on products, decor, and signs for a closer look. Google Business Photos also includes full set of professional photos. The Virtual Tour and Photos are published on the business owner's Google+ Local page, Google Maps, and on Google Search.
The service offers other features that will also increase online exposure for a business. In addition to being found on Google Products, the Virtual Tour is easy to embed on a Business Owner's website or Facebook Page by just copying and pasting the code from Google Maps. The Street View Virtual Tour is also available on all Android mobile devices using the Google Maps App.
According to Anthony from Black Paw Photo, "Most new customers search for products and services by "Googling them". The Virtual Tour gives business owners a new way to get a customer's attention, and Google now invites people to "See Inside" any business locations with a Virtual Tour. So now when customers find you online, the experience is memorable and personal. This helps turn more people into paying customers."
"Google Business Photos is a smart investment for business owners because Google keeps adding new features. They are steadily releasing new features on Google Maps and Google Search for businesses that have a Google Virtual Tour, and this continually adds value to businesses in this program."
