Godwin Ronquillo Adds Three Shareholders in Dallas, Houston
Sean Fleming, Gwen Richard and Prescott Smith have joined Godwin Ronquillo PC as shareholders.
- Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) August 10, 2011 - The noted Texas litigation and appellate law firm of Godwin Ronquillo PC is pleased to announce the addition of shareholders Sean Fleming, Gwen Richard and Prescott Smith. Mr. Fleming and Mr. Smith join the firm's Dallas office. Ms. Richard joins the firm in Houston.

Mr. Fleming's litigation practice focuses on cases involving misappropriation and theft of trade secrets, unfair competition, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract securities fraud and antitrust matters. He is a member of the Dallas Academy executive committee, and joined Godwin Ronquillo from the Dallas office of K&L Gates, LLP. Mr. Fleming graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2000 after earning his BA, Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude, from the University of Kansas in 1997.
Ms. Richard, formerly of Houston's Law Office of Gwen E. Richard, has been Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1997. She is a national board member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and the ABOTA Foundation's Houston Chapter representative. She has earned recognition in the Texas Super Lawyers list five times. Ms. Richard earned her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 1988, and her BA from Rice University in 1985. She also earned an LL.M. in International Business Law from the University of London, Kings College, in 1989.
Mr. Smith joins the firm with a diverse civil practice focused on intellectual property, contractual disputes, business torts, director and office liability, antitrust, oil & gas, and administrative law matters. He served as a law clerk to the Hon. Samuel B. Kent in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and joins Godwin Ronquillo from Dallas' Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal, LLP. Mr. Smith has earned three selections to the Texas Super Lawyers - Rising Stars listing. He graduated with honors from the University Texas School of Law in 1999. He earned his doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1991, and his BA, with high honors, from the University of Arkansas in 1987.
