Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) January 10, 2013 - Experienced Dallas appellate lawyer Shawn McCaskill, a shareholder in the Texas trial and appellate firm Godwin Lewis PC, has earned Board Certification in Civil Appellate Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

In order to secure Board Certification, an attorney must complete specific requirements established by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, in addition to passing a day-long written examination that focuses on Civil Appellate Law matters.

Mr. McCaskill has earned five different individual selections to the Texas Rising Stars list published by Thomson Reuters, Legal Division, which recognizes the top young attorneys in the state.
