Go Local Interactive Volunteers At Harvesters To Help Feed Hungry Families This Holiday Season
Go Local Interactive donated food items and volunteered at Harvester's Community Food Network to help feed local families this holiday season.
- Kansas City, MO-KS (1888PressRelease) December 16, 2014 - Go Local Interactive (http://www.golocalinteractive.com), a full service online marketing agency recently spent an afternoon volunteering at the Harvesters Community Food Network (https://www.harvesters.org/), a regional food bank that serves a 26-county area of northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas.
Go Local Interactive employees chose to donate collected food items as well as their time to help the cause. They took the afternoon off on Wednesday, December 10th to help sort, pack, and label hundreds of boxes of food that will go to help supply emergency food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children's homes, and other not-for-profit agencies.
The holiday season, Harvester's works especially hard to keep shelves and kitchens stocked to ensure local families in need are able to share in the comfort of a special holiday meal.
Harvester's accepts volunteers as well as food and money donations.
