Glytec Announces Partnership with Lincor Solutions to License Glucommander Plus(TM) For Use On MEDIVista Bedside Computers
Glytec has announced it is partnering with Lincor Solutions to license the Glucommander Plus™ inpatient glucose management software on Lincor's MEDIVista bedside computer system.

The Glucommander Plus™ software provides healthcare professionals with individualized insulin dosing requirements for hospitalized patients. The software includes many safety guardrails including predictive warnings and alerts, a fully-integrated and real-time reporting engine, and precision bolus dosing of meal-time insulin.
The effects of poorly controlled blood glucose levels in hospitalized patients have long been known to cause serious complications such as an increased length of hospital stay, increased risk of infection, impaired wound healing, and increased risk of mortality.
Glytec's Glucommander Plus™ software is available to hospitals on a fully-integrated enterprise platform, as well as an encrypted, cloud-based Internet version. The company plans to deploy the software to Lincor's MEDIVista system in the second quarter of 2011.
