Global Virtual Reality Association Lands in Washington DC
Association to Accelerate VR and AR technology within the DC/Metro Community.
- Washington, DC-MD-VA-WV (1888PressRelease) April 20, 2018 - Brightline Interactive is announcing the launch of the DC chapter of the Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality Association (VRARA). VRARA is the global industry association for virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR), connecting major industries with experts in the fields of VR and AR technology.
The Washington DC Chapter will build a community of industry leaders, educators, content creators, engineers, and technology organizations to promote the growth of and develop industry standards for the immersive technology throughout the DC/metro community. VRARA Washington DC is the DMV’s connection to the top global organization for thought leadership and industry access in this rapidly developing, immersive space.
To kickoff the DC chapter, Brightline Interactive will be hosting a launch party on April 30th at the Wharf’s new music venue, Pearl Street Warehouse. The event is open to the public and will host a variety of VR and AR demos, entertainment and hor d'oeuvres. Influencers representing an array of industries will be in attendance to support the evolution of this immersive technology as a new, effective medium of communication.
