Global Monitoring plans to introduce Messenger™ Remote Monitors in three communication options as well as a new line of less expensive "cloud-based" monitors.
- (1888PressRelease) April 21, 2013 - Global Monitoring, innovators of industrial-grade remote monitoring and control systems including its line of Messenger™ Remote Monitors that keep tabs on conditions at remote or unattended sites, celebrates 25 years of business within the remote monitoring and control industry. Founded in 1988, the instrumentation and controls company has sold over 10,000 remote monitoring and control systems to customers in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Global Monitoring founder Steve Sanislo attributes the company's success to a unique business model that combines the attributes of a large organization with those of a smaller business. While operating like a big business with a global reach, the company remains efficient with a deliberately small but specialized engineering staff concentrated on product development, design and mechanical engineering. Even as sales increased over the past 25 years, the company has decreased overhead and expanded its technology portfolio.

Among the latest technological innovations from Global Monitoring is the expansion of its flagship line of Messenger™ Remote Monitors with three different communication options including a dial-up, cellular and satellite communications model. While a dial-up version has been in the market for years, the satellite and cellular versions will help address growing demand.
The company is also working on a less expensive line of remote monitors called Sensor Alerts that rely on the use of a cloud server. In operation, raw sensor data will be sent to a server, where it will be processed, analyzed and recorded before delivered to a computer, mobile phone or other final destination.
