Glencoe Capital's Duzan Named To Top 40 Under 40 By M&a Advisor
Glencoe Capital managing director honored among top 40 list.
- Detroit, MI (1888PressRelease) October 12, 2010 - Jason L. Duzan, managing director of Glencoe Capital's Michigan Opportunities Fund, has been named one of the Top 40 Under 40 by M&A Advisor magazine.
Duzan was nominated by his peers in the private equity professional classification and in the industry sectors of consumer products and services, financial services, healthcare and life sciences, information technology, manufacturing and distribution, professional services, retail, and telecom.
Duzan has over fourteen years of experience in executing, financing, and managing private equity investments in publicly traded and private companies in a variety of industries, with a particular focus in the consumer and business service industries. He joined Glencoe Capital in Chicago in 1997, was promoted to Vice President in 2000 and became a Principal in 2004.
In 2008, Duzan was appointed Managing Director of the firm's newly established Michigan Opportunities Fund in Birmingham, Mich. In 2009, under Duzan's leadership, Glencoe Capital won "Deal Maker of the Year Award" from Crain's Detroit Business and the Detroit Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. The firm was also a runner-up for "Deal of the Year" for its investment in Moosejaw Mountaineering.
Duzan will be recognized for his achievements at a ceremony on July 26, 2010 at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles.
