GL Announces Comprehensive IP Analysis and Simulation Tools

GL's PcketCheck™ is software based Ethernet/IP test tool and also a general purpose network performance analysis tool for 10Mbps, 100Mbps and 1Gbps LANs and WANs. Throughput up to 800 Mbps can be easily tested.
GL's MAPS™ is a protocol simulation and conformance test tool that can be applied to a variety of protocols such as SIP, MEGACO, MGCP, SS7, SIGTRAN, ISDN, GSM, UMTS,LTE, IMS and others. It also supports simulation of FAX over IP (FoIP) - both RTP G.711 Pass Through Fax Simulation and T.38 Fax Simulation over UDPTL. It is also an ideal tool to evaluate Gateway / ATA with TDM and VoIP Interfaces. The tester supports T1 E1 PRI ISDN, Megaco, and SIP interfaces.
GL also provides a PC-based real-time VoIP bulk call generator referred to as PacketeGen™ that can be used for stress testing and precise analysis of the VoIP network equipment.
GL also provides testing and simulation tool that is designed not only to monitor RTP and RTCP packets, but also to allow users to manually create and terminate RTP sessions, independent of call-signaling protocols such as SIP, H323, MEGACO, or MGCP. GL's RTP Core allows creating, managing and deleting RTP sessions. RTP Core is a standalone application that acts as an interface between RTP dll and the application.
GTP Traffic Simulation modules within MAPS™ support user-plane traffic simulation in LTE, UMTS, and GPRS networks. GL also has products that address testing ATAs and Gateways, Echo Canceller Compliance Testing, and IP Softphone Testing and more."
