In conjunction with MIJF 2013, the organizer is pleased to announce the debut of most resourceful educational gemology seminar - "Getting into the World of Colour Stones: The Outset of Successful Buying Gemstones" Seminar, presented by The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT) on July 14, 2013 (Sunday), from 2pm until 3.00pm in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
Basically, this seminar will be primarily focused on sharing the varieties of colour stone in gem trade. MIJF visitors will be educated about unique of colourful gemstones. The speaker, Dr. Pornsawat Wathanakul, Director of The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT) will share the information about simple identification techniques to separate natural, synthetic and imitation gemstones when purchasing gemstones.
The seminar is opened to public and all jewellery's trade buyers. All jewellery industry's entrepreneurs, wholesalers, retailers, connoisseurs, undergraduate students, industry players, managers, exhibitors, and others are welcomed to have a visit for it.
