(1888PressRelease) March 25, 2011 - Recently, Giorgio's - the first Italian restaurant in a riverside hotel in Bangkok at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers - organized a live cooking contest "PastaMaster", and nominated Piyarit Sudsakorn - the Winner of PastaMaster 2011 for his unbeatable "Tom Yum Spaghetti with Lemongrass Chicken".

Launched in February, PastaMaster 2011 contest invited amateur chefs to submit their secret pasta recipe for a stake of winning the grand prize over 50,000 Baht. The Top 5 most tantalizing dishes pre-selected by our expert panel were invited to demonstrate their cooking live in front of the judges and the media at the final showdown, taken place on 17th March 2011. Expert Panel consisted of Executive Chef Gael Lardiere, Executive Sous Chef Gaetano Palumbo and Khun Chatdanai Musigchai (MD), a renowned food critic and host of a cooking show on Channel 7.

The five dishes showcased at the event were: Tom Yum Spaghetti with Lemongrass Chicken; Taro Tortellini with Tomato Sauce; Black Fettucine Spicy Pesto with Seafood and Pickled Spanish Mackerel; Spicy Tomato Sauce Spaghetti with original BBQ Pork Sauce; and, Spicy Fusili Minced Pork with Basil and century egg

For those interested in trying, Tom Yum Spaghetti with Lemongrass Chicken will be available from April 2011 onwards along with other newly created menus by Chef Gaetano Palumbo at Giorgio's.
