Gigs In Hawaii And England Are Just Two Opportunities In The 2011 Goodnight Kiss Music, Song & Video Competition
More than just another song contest, the 2011 Goodnight Kiss Music, Song & Video Competition offers unique benefits to songwriters, performing songwriters, and videographers. The prizes are things you can actually use, and the career opportunities are outstanding.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) October 17, 2011 - Every entry will be considered for a record deal by Spectra Records executive Cornelius White, and performing songwriters will be up for appearances at the Kona Music Festival in Hawaii and the Evolution Dome festival in the U.K.
Entries will be considered for recording by award-winning country artist Sandra Piller, for use in the next project by Nashville songwriter/producer Jane Bach, and for placement by Wayne Clark of Mirage International Productions in his company's movies, ads, videos and major segments for TV.
Entries will be evaluated by Matt Forger (whose credits include Michael Jackson and Yumi Matsutoya) to present to the producers, managers and recording artists he works with at his Anisound mixing/mastering studio and his Rock 'n' Roll Recording studio. In addition, entries will be considered for use in film/TV projects by Dominique Preyer of Hear It Clear It Music Supervision.
Naturally, there are cash awards, but the "practical prizes" approach of the Competition means that winners will also receive a complete music video from TuneVid, multi-tone guitar pick-up gear from Awesome-Guitars, a 2T Fantom External hard drive, Swarovski crystal earbuds, and a photo featured in Music Connection magazine.
There will also be an interview and radio play on the nationally syndicated LA Talk Radio programming, online memberships to the Music Registry Film & TV Guide, Crystal USB drive bracelets, copies of the Indie Bible and Indie Venue Bible, USB Drives, DVD spindle packs, copies of the hilarious "Music Horror Stories" book, Broadjam memberships, and more.
The competition officially opened in September, and songs may be in any category. Winners will be announced in December and are scheduled to be played on the Music Highway radio program on LATalkRadio.com. Listeners will vote for a People's Choice winner. As a popular global Internet station, anyone may listen live by computer. The show, hosted each week by Sheena Metal, will then appear for streaming on the radio station site and will be available on iTunes.
