Gift of Life Marrow Registry and Florida Panthers to Host Donor Recruitment Drive
Two organizations will team up during Hockey Fights Cancer Month.
- (1888PressRelease) November 21, 2017 - The Florida Panthers have partnered with Gift of Life Marrow Registry to host a Hockey Fights Cancer donor recruitment drive on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at BB&T Center in Sunrise, Fla.
The Panthers will face-off against the Toronto Maple Leafs at 7pm. The drive will take place from when doors open to the end of the second intermission inside of South Main doors and in the Den of Honor.
Everyone is encouraged to participate. Its fast, painless and all information is confidential. If you are between the ages of 18 and 45 and in general good health, you are eligible to be screened and join the worldwide registry for patients in need.
A simple swab from the inside of your cheek is all it takes to determine if you are a match. Fans who would like to join the marrow registry, but are unable to attend the game may order a donor kit online at: giftoflife.org/register.
