About Giel Stein
Giel Stein is a Member in the Litigation group of Clark Hill’s Chicago office. Giel is a trial lawyer. A former Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, Giel has tried cases before federal district courts, federal administrative bodies, federal panel arbitrators, and in state courts. Giel has also argued in state and federal appellate courts. He has effectively led complex public and private sector internal investigations. Giel’s trial skills are complemented by his credentialed mediation abilities, which he honed as a mediator for the Circuit Court of Cook County, the Center for Conflict Resolution, and the Federal Executive Board. Giel teaches trial advocacy and civil discovery at Northwestern Law School and the University of Illinois Law School.
