GIA Releases Enhanced Version of its Competitive Intelligence Software, Intelligence Plaza(R)
Global Intelligence Alliance (GIA) launches the much anticipated Intelligence Plaza® 7.3, the latest version of its highly rated competitive intelligence software, which offers enhanced mobile and tablet friendly capabilities for an improved user experience.
- (1888PressRelease) April 24, 2013 - Research shows that many companies are still lacking effective and user-friendly competitive intelligence software for collaboration and information sharing. The 2013 Global Market Intelligence Survey conducted by GIA in March-April 2013 revealed that only six out of ten managers state that the market intelligence tools they currently use enable them to share information proactively. In addition, just over 50 percent say they are able to subscribe to e-mail alerts about or search for topics that are important to them.
GIA says that Intelligence Plaza, which customers gave a satisfaction score of 4.13 out of 5 even before the enhancements, outperforms other competitive intelligence software in these areas. According to a product review by VIP, the "strengths of Intelligence Plaza include the ability to set up a multitude of feeds from internal and external sources, flexible tagging abilities, a variety of delivery options, and mobile access."
The result of collaborative feedback from 100 clients, the enhancements available in Intelligence Plaza 7.3 promise:
• Better user collaboration: Plaza 7.3 allows users to share internal knowledge and track comments on topics of interest more easily. For example, users can comment on e-mail alerts with just one click and be notified when there are new discussions on topics of interest.
• Superior mobile/tablet user interface: Plaza 7.3 provides interactive mobile versions of market intelligence alerts and newsletters on handheld devices.
• New email alert features: Plaza 7.3 offers new alert features, such as enhanced visual design elements as well the ability to organize the contents of alerts more intuitively, which make knowledge sharing easier.
• Improved newsletter-formatting tools: Plaza 7.3 has improved newsletter visualization and administration tools that are quick and easy to use.
Demonstrations of Plaza 7.3 will be available at Booth number four at the Annual Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) International Conference and Exhibition on May 6-9 2013 in Orlando, Florida.
"The updated and intuitive mobile and tablet interface has certainly received very positive feedback during our initial tests. More and more, business analysts and market intelligence users are demanding tools that allow for greater collaboration, customization and cost-effective information sharing. So we have ensured that there are a host of features in the Intelligence Plaza that users can pick and choose from, from options for circulating news alerts on mobile devices as well as automated analysis, to customized newsletters or feeds from tens of thousands of online news monitoring sources," said Petteri Verronen, Vice President for Technology at Global Intelligence Alliance.
