Ghotit's new website targets dyslexics with writing difficulties.

The new website includes an online spell checker that not only provides an optimized spell checker for dyslexics, but also includes an advanced grammar and punctuation checker.
"In many cases dyslexics suffer not only from bad spelling, but also from problematic grammar and punctuation. Grammar problems in writing may result from dyslexics focusing so much on getting their spelling correct, that they tend to overlook their grammar" says Ofer Chermesh, dyslexic founder of Ghotit. "We were overwhelmed by the number of requests from active customers who requested to complement our unique spell checking solution with grammar and punctuation correction capabilities".
It is a very big challenge for people with dyslexia to produce clear and correctly spelled written text. Ghotit, founded in 2007, has been offering advanced writing assistive technology focusing on the dyslexic community. As opposed to general-purpose spell checker solutions, Ghotit has developed unique context-based solutions to understand and correct very poorly written text. Ghotit leveraged its context-based correction algorithms to analyze the written sentence also from a grammatical perspective.

Ghotit has fine-tuned its solution to different English-speaking geographies. English speakers in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand all speak English a bit differently, with a slightly different vocabulary. The goal of Ghotit is to assist and ease the writing process of a dyslexic. To do so, it is important to offer each dyslexic a specific geographical English dictionary, so that the word candidates offered by Ghotit are known and native to the dyslexic writer.
The new Ghotit website was designed to provide dyslexics with valuable information regarding writing assistive technology for dyslexics. The online spell checker integrates also the newly released grammar correction algorithms.
