- (1888PressRelease) November 02, 2010 - Trashy Bags is a sustainable business based in Ghana, which creates handbags, briefcases and other accessories from recycling plastic waste. We employ over sixty local people and are leading the way in sustainable development in Ghana.
Stuart Gold, the CEO, is pleased to announce that Trashy Bags products have been chosen to be included in the gift bag presented to the 60 celebrities who will be attending the November 2010 MTV awards in Madrid.
A new website for Trashy Bags is also being launched this week, to showcase their new products. It can be found at www.trashybags.org.
Stuart says: "We are very pleased to show Trashy Bags off to a wider audience. By thinking creatively and intelligently about the plastic waste that we do produce - reducing the amount we use, reusing plastic that can still be put to good use and by taking our plastic for recycling we will solve this problem and show that we take our environment seriously."
