Founded in 1997, in response to a community need, Northridge Hospital Medical Center's CATS is the only 24 hour, 7 day-a-week program for victims of abuse and assault of all ages in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys of Los Angeles County, California.
2-2-2-2 GTF FOR CATS CHARITY EVENT PRESS RELEASE
"The entire staff at CATS is committed to giving the best possible care to the victims of this very personal and devastating crime. Our caring staff of examiners are experts in medical evidentiary examinations and provide services in a victim friendly environment," said Kathy Adams, Clinical Manager of CATS. "Emphasis is not only on providing best practices in evidence collection but also to give the victim and their loved ones services and tools with which to begin the road to recovery both physically and mentally."
The Get Together Foundation acts as a non-profit bridge between the donator and the intended cause; a system that allows 100 percent of the contributions to go to a designated cause, no less, no exceptions. The Foundation raises money for a variety of different causes ranging from children's charities to cancer research and is financed by a percentage of the sales of Earthly Body personal care products and private donations and sponsorship. The foundation created a buzz in the fundraising world because 100 percent of the gross revenue from charity events is donated to the intended source. In addition, it also operates without any administrative salaries and is completely volunteer run.
The "Concert for Hope" event will be held from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Sagebrush Cantina in Old Town Calabasas at 23527 Calabasas Rd. General admission tickets are 10 dollars and 50 dollars for VIP. VIP ticket holders will enjoy a complimentary dinner, T-shirt and Earthly Body all-natural personal care product gift bag.
