- (1888PressRelease) September 25, 2014 - The Women's Breast Health Initiative, Florida Affiliate have partnered with The Diamond Market to present the Brilliant Diamond Benefit, a series of events, complete with carats of gems, to raise funds for the nonprofit organization's mission of prevention and early detection of breast cancer and heart disease among women.
The Hollywood-based firm The Diamond Market has donated the grand prize giveaway of a $22,000 yellow diamond ring-nicknamed "The Rock"- through a live drawing on October 12. For a chance to win, contact the Women's Breast Health Initiative at (305) 825-4081.
In addition to the yellow diamond ring giveaway, The Diamond Market is also hosting a three-day online auction of 15 rare, fancy-color diamonds and jewelry pieces this October, complete with low-reserve prices. The auction, which will be hosted at www.TheDiamondMarket.com, is open to the public and begins on October 10. Proceeds from the auction will benefit WBHI's door-to-door outreach efforts to provide critical information and screenings for breast and heart health to underserved women in our South Florida communities.
The Brilliant Diamond Benefit will culminate on the evening of October 12. At 8:30 PM EST, when the live drawing for the yellow diamond ring will be streamed online at www.TheDiamondMarket.com. At 8:30 PM EST, the online auction segment will close and the winner of "The Rock" will be selected. The drawing will be validated by the accounting firm of Goldstein Schechter Koch.
