German Musicians at the British School
Five musicians of the Wind Quintet 5 Beaufort of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie from Leipzig, Germany made a special visit to The British School, New Delhi.
- (1888PressRelease) November 10, 2011 - Five musicians of the Wind Quintet 5 Beaufort of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie from Leipzig, Germany made a special visit to The British School, New Delhi.
The group is on a concert tour, as a part of the "Germany and India 2011- 2012: Infinite Opportunities" programme. Ms. Vanita Uppal, Principal of the Secondary school, welcomed them to share their life experiences with the students of the school. The members of the group, namely Elisabeth Gruemmer, Josefina Dunder, Hugo Rodriguez, Gala Grauel, LukasWiegertwere a great pool of talent.
Students studying German at The British School got the opportunity to interact with them , take them on a school tour and hear them perform -an absolute treat given their amazing talent and the fact that The British School was the only school they performed at.
