German Electrical Brand Helfinch LTD announces appointment of Super-stockists in India
HELFINCH INDIA, the manufacturing arm of HELFINCH LTD (GERMANY) has begun appointing Super-stockists to distribute its LED lighting, electrical wires, and switchgear products across India.

In its AGM held recently in their London headquarters, HELFINCH LTD announced its full fledged foray into Indian FMEG business, by developing and delivering high-quality German-standard products at extremely competitive pricing.
"We think this move is logical given HELFINCH INDIA already has proven the Indian market is mature enough to evaluate the quality of lighting products, safety in electrical wires and standards in circuit breaker switchgear, which was remarkable growth in the last one year,” press reports said.
HELFINCH INDIA has stepped up channel partnerships and has already onboarded few key players who are Super-stockists in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh and North East regions. With these Super-stockists having pre built up significant reach, we believe HELFINCH INDIA will use this network to retail its products widely and efficiently. It started with rural India focused products such as Inverter bulbs. Its strategy seems to be to price its premium quality products a notch lower than the competition brands in order to drive shelf space gain.
The company is experimenting with both traditional Super-stockist to distribution and e-B2B models hand-in-hand to aggressively capture retail outlets of all sizes and capture shelf space.
Among HELFINCH INDIA's new commerce businesses, the B2B model, DirectFromBrand, is well understood though the B2C (via its e-store portal) model is undergoing iterations. As we understand, both these businesses are high-margin today even though there exists a high competitive intensity. Assuming HELFINCH INDIA begins distributing its products to 200,000 retailers initially, it can garner FMEG sales to the tune of Rs 250 - 300 crores within 1-2 years of signing up Super-stockists nationwide, the report said.
HELFINCH INDIA had begun hiring industry veterans to lead this activity since August 2023, and they are poised to cover significant part of India before the year ends. A dedicated team is available to present the opportunity in detail and on-board prospective Super-stockists.
