He has released several of his albums with the latest project being "The Electic Mingus Project" that pays tribute to Charles Mingus by "re-imagining" his work. Gerald has his own record label that produces his woks in addition to assisting independent musicians.

In the interview, Gerald said that he has been playing bass since he was 12 years old.
He stated that as a recording artist he has released 8 albums so far.
He said that his latest album "The Electic Mingus Project" is a re-imagination" of the music of one of America's most important musicians and composers, Charles Mingus.
