George & Tex Story Launches Publicly
The launch of an Indiegogo writing site, Dancing With Tex". A Special Friendship" is seeking support for the publishing of an important children's book that made national news thirty years ago. The book describes the ground-breaking friendship between a man and rare Whooping Crane who believed she belonged with humans. DancingWithTex.wordpress.com shares the details of the story.

One particular story never left her mind. As a result, on January 8th, Sanders launched "Dancing With Tex: A Special Friendship" on Indiegogo to self-publish an inspirational, true story that made national news on the Johnny Carson show thirty years ago. It's one she feels children need to read.

Archibald, co-founder of The International Crane Foundation continues saving cranes across the world. His accomplishment was in helping Tex, a rare Whooping Crane who felt she belonged with people, lay a fertile egg. It took six years before this accomplishment happened. And that feat helped save the Whooping Cranes from extinction.
