GeNIA & Max de Wardener Concert At Kings Place, 9th Feb 2014
Piano-Yoga® founder and pianist, GeNIA, returns to Kings Place with an eclectic mix of contemporary piano music from around the world.
- (1888PressRelease) January 31, 2014 - The programme will include a rare performance of Sonata, an early piano work by Russian composer Sofia Gubaidulina, 'Techno Etudes' by one of Japan's leading living composers Karen Tanaka, several works by the award winning ECM artist Nik Bartsch and by British composer and milti-intrumentalist, Max de Wardener. GéNIA will also be debuting several pieces from her own upcoming piano album, "Thoughts of Today, Dreams of Tomorrow", that she has been writing while on sabbatical in Paris over the past year.
