As a leading provider of free, online education we are experiencing a period of significant growth -- and need additional developers to continue our culture of innovation while maintaining the high quality of content and interactivity for which we are known. The developers at GCFLearnFree enjoy a culture that encourages learning and experimentation, coupled with the knowledge that their work impacts millions of learners around the world.

As our new developer, you will have the opportunity to work on a site with a robust and well-developed infrastructure that delivers 100 million page views annually. Current and upcoming projects include:
maintaining and expanding our existing custom CMS/LMS
developing new functionality for learning delivery and interactivity
a mobile strategy that encompasses: Apple, Android, and Kindle Fire development

Requirements

Four-year college degree in a related field or 2 years related experience. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with:
Object-oriented programming in ASP.NET (VB Preferred)
JavaScript (jQuery preferred)
MS SQL Server (database design, advanced queries and stored procedures)
CSS and HTML (expert knowledge expected)
Position
