  • (1888PressRelease) February 21, 2013 - For years the Downtown Beloit Association has given downtown businesses the opportunity to apply for matching fund grants up to $1,000 for façade and up to $500 for signage. This opportunity from GBEDC will allow us to fund even more projects throughout the year. Shauna El-Amin, Executive Director of the Downtown Beloit Association said "We have had a very overwhelming response in the past eight months from businesses looking to take advantage of these funds to spruce up their storefronts and to replace worn out signage. We have also seen a burst of development in downtown and would like to have these funds available to new businesses locating here."

Downtown businesses looking to take advantage of these funds can contact the Downtown Beloit Association directly.
