GB Auto Reaps the '2012 Best New Distributor' Award from GEELY International Corporation
April marked the harvest month for GB Auto, as this month witnessed the addition of a new award to GB Auto's prestigious portfolio of awards and acknowledgments. GB Auto's stunning performance and unsurpassed dedication was acknowledged by its partner GEELY International Corporation.
- (1888PressRelease) August 30, 2013 - This acknowledgment was highlighted by the "2012 Best New Distributor" Award that GEELY presented to GB Auto. The award sheds the light on the massive efforts exerted by GB Auto to launch the Chinese automotive brand in Egypt in October 2012. The award was received on behalf of GB Auto by Mr. Ahmed Abdel Ghany, GEELY Franchise Director, at GIC's 2013 Business Conference, held in Hangzhou, China.
GB Auto's delegation was also praised by CIG for being the " Most Promising Partner", as GB Auto has succeeded in securing GEELY 4.6% share of the passenger car market in Egypt (May 2013).
The business conference was the final stop on a 4-day symposium themed "Today's Vision Tomorrow's Reality", which comprised a series of events at which GIC communicated to its partners its vision and direction for penetration of international markets over the coming years to become a global automotive market leader. GB Auto's delegation was invited to the remarkable unveiling of the EC7 hybrid and 'KC', GEELY's new concept luxury sedan that was built by the company's world-class research and development team, further to its recent acquisition of Volvo. This was followed by a visit to the Shanghai Motor Show, now considered one of the most important motor shows in the world, and a seminar to showcase GEELY's forthcoming models which are currently under development.
