- (1888PressRelease) October 20, 2012 - Continental are very aware that choices within the supply chains have been reduced restricting not only quality but a cost effective solution to tank regulation. Peter Burton says "Gas companies are continually under scrutiny to reduce expenditure without jeopardising quality"
The range will consists of a first stage regulator c/w OPSO Type 901, giving a capacity of 28kg/hr from 1.25 to 16bar inlet pressure unlike other regulators which need much higher pressure to give their claimed capacity. The regulator will cope in all conditions and is matched to vessels up to 2-tonne.
The type 900 is a combination first and second stage UPSO/OPSO available in outlet pressure of 37mbar (for all two stage installations) and 75mbar (for three stage systems). Due to the one piece construction it has the advantage over close coupled regulators as no joints can leak. This regulator fits perfectly in all underground and aboveground installations giving great performance in all conditions.
The 902 second stage UPSO is the last currently in the range offering third or second stage regulation and will be available with a 75mbar-1bar inlet pressure.
We feel with our new testing facility in Norwich, we can offer quick diagnostic checks on this range. The 9000 range of regulators have been designed to allow for all variants of temperature/inlet pressures giving great flow characteristics. These regulators come complete with clear, concise fitting instructions and even a technical pack to determine all aspects required for ease of installation and use.
The UPSO/OPSO indicators on all models are user friendly and easy to talk over with engineers / customers in mind.
Gasequipmentdirect can also provide portable OPSO testing equipment which allows quickly on site verification to REGT1.
This range has been designed with the engineer in mind and with the ability to bespoke fittings kits making us the first choice for quality and price.
All regulators in the range have been tested and approved by BSI so no need to rely on 'Certificate of Conformities' instead actual independent approval certificates.
