Gardere Welcomes Attorney Christina Wisdom to the Firm's Austin Office
Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Christina T. Wisdom as of counsel in the Government Affairs Practice Group in the Firm's Austin office. With more than 10 years of legislative and regulatory leadership, Ms. Wisdom will focus her practice on environmental and energy matters.
- Austin-San Marcos, TX (1888PressRelease) September 04, 2013 - Ms. Wisdom joins the Firm from the Texas Chemical Council, where she has served as the vice president and general counsel since 2006. While at TCC, she represented more than 70 chemical companies before the Texas Legislature, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Railroad Commission of Texas, Public Utility Commission of Texas, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, among others. Ms. Wisdom also serves as an adjunct professor at The University of Texas School of Law, teaching Texas environmental and administrative law.

Ms. Wisdom has also been recognized on the Texas Rising Stars list in Texas Monthly magazine based on her work in the areas of environmental and government relations.

Earlier this year, the group was named the second most powerful legal lobbying team by Capitol Inside in its 10th Annual Texas Lobby Power Rankings. In addition to the Firm's overall ranking, Partner Mark Vane was named to the "Hired Guns" list, which identifies the top lobbyists in the state.
