Gardere Partner Richard Faulk Joins Hydraulic Fracturing Panel in Dallas
Gardere Wynne Sewell's Richard O. Faulk will participate in the panel discussion at the 2011 Gas Drilling Operations Conference.
- Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) December 08, 2011 - Partner Richard O. Faulk of the Houston office of Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP has been selected among a roster of esteemed panelists for the 2011 Gas Drilling Operations Conference in Dallas.
Mr. Faulk is serving as a panel member for "Examining a Fracking Contamination Case or Injury," which will focus on what a typical injury or contamination case looks like; legal theories, including alleged-negligence and nuisance; strategies for building a case or defense; case structures; and potential liability to working interest owners in mineral leases where fracking is being conducted.
The conference is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 13, and will take place at the Cityplace Conference and Event Center in Dallas. The panel discussion, scheduled to begin at 2:15 p.m., will be broadcast via webinar for individuals who are unable to attend.

Mr. Faulk is Chair of the Gardere Litigation Department and Environmental Practice and Co-Chair of the Firm's Appellate Practice and Climate Change Task Force.
