In The Legal 500 coverage of Gardere's technology transactions practice, Dallas partner Peter Vogel, chair of the Electronic Discovery group and co-chair of the Internet, eCommerce and Technology industry team at Gardere, earned high individual accolades from clients based on his legal expertise, business and market knowledge, and responsiveness. Mr. Vogel and fellow firm attorneys regularly advise web and software development companies, Internet hosts, and manufacturers of computer chips and communications technology, biotechnology and medical devices, as well as customers of these and other Internet-based services, including social media.

Also earning individual recognition from the real estate group was Randall Jones of the firm's Houston office for his work advising Arts Center Enterprises on its renovation and restoration of the King's Theatre in Brooklyn, N.Y. In its look at the group, The Legal 500 detailed the firm's work for Western Hospitality on all phases involving a number of new or existing Marriott and Hilton branded hotels, and for the Gencom Group on acquisitions relating to the partly completed Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage hotel and residential project in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
