Gandhi of Grain, Former President of Malta, Other Dignitaries to Speak at the Inaugural Green Vision Summit & Expo

- (1888PressRelease) April 09, 2024 - The first-ever Green Vision Summit & Expo (GVSE) in Malta will witness the presence of Dr. Vandana Shiva, a well-known environmental activist often referred to as the Gandhi of Grain, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, Former President of the Republic of Malta, and Marc Buckley, a Regenerative Futurist, alongside other esteemed figures in the industry. The event is organised by GSE Technologies and has received support from the Malta Tourism Authority, the Parliamentary Secretariat for Youths, Research and Innovation, the Ministry for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights, and the Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Regeneration of the Grand Harbour.
With the theme of “Humanity, Technology, and the Future,” this gathering of influential individuals and global change-makers from around the world will pave the way for participants to share their insights and expertise on pressing issues such as food and water, tourism and hospitality, and the future of humanity. Given the current challenge of irreparably harming the livable conditions of our planet, these sustainability experts will set the stage for collaborative efforts and amplify the call for practical changes in the industries that sustain us.
Other notable speakers at the GVSE include HRM Notse Prof. Nortey Owuo IV, the King of Osu, Ghana, who is bringing his cultural and academic wisdom to complement the shared commitment of responsible global leaders in shaping a resilient future.
Benedikt Bosel, the Creator and Producer of the documentary series ‘Farm Rebellion’ aired on Disney+; Noah Falstein, the former Chief Game Designer at Google and creator of transformational Games; and Chris Caldwell, an expert in renewable energy and corporate financing, among others.
Sabrina Agius, the CEO of GSE Technologies and convener of the GVSE, emphasised the event’s objective to move beyond mere discussions and take action.
