Gamry Instruments to attend a Battery Workshop February 10th-11th
Gamry Instruments is excited to attend the PlugVolt 2015 Battery Seminar being held in Plymouth Township, Michigan.
- (1888PressRelease) January 07, 2015 - Gamry Instruments will be attending PlugVolt's 2015 Battery Seminar being held February 10th & 11th at The Inn at St. Johns Golf Resort in Plymouth, Michigan. This seminar will carry in-depth discussions on worldwide status quo of some raw materials presently under research and technological advances and recent developments in battery components.
Included with the seminar, attendees will receive an exclusive tour of the Intertek Battery Test Facility. This tour offers a unique opportunity to participate in a guided tour of Intertek battery performance and safety test lab, which supports environmental simulation, vibration, durability, battery performance and abuse and electrical safety certification testing.
Gamry Instruments is proud to be a part of this educational opportunity. Dr. Chris Beasley will be representing Gamry with a poster presentation. Dr. Beasley will also have information on new Gamry products designed specifically for testing batteries, supercapacitors and fuel cells. These new products are perfect for EIS on coin cells or 18650 batteries when coupled with the Gamry Battery Holders.
Attendees will learn more about battery materials and development and there will be several unbiased technical sessions by Dr. Paul Gifford, an independent electrochemist with no sales or marketing pitches.
