Gamedayr Announces Partnership With The Florida Players Network
Gamedayr, a sports website that focuses on college sports and school spirit, has agreed to a partnership with the Florida Players Network, a nonprofit organization. The partnership will help boost sponsorships and awareness of both brands.
- Gainesville, FL (1888PressRelease) October 05, 2012 - Collegiate sports website Gamedayr has finalized a partnership agreement with the Florida Players Network, aiming to spread brand awareness and raise money for the nonprofit organization.
The Florida Players Network provides former University of Florida football players with the opportunity to interact with and give back to the Gainesville community, as well as provide assistance to other former athletes in need. The Network is aiming to raise awareness of its company through Gamedayr, as well as raise money through sponsorships to support the organization and its community service efforts.
In exchange for sponsorship sales and advertising on the Gamedayr website, the Network will offer Gamedayr with exclusive interview content of its members and other former UF athletes. In addition to these interviewing opportunities, Gamedayr will be provided with access to networking events held by the organization.
As part of the agreement, the Florida Players Network and Gamedayr will collaboratively host home football game events at 101 Cantina throughout the season. All Gator fans are welcome to purchase a ticket and attend the fundraisers, which will include live music, a place to tailgate, free giveaways, and an opportunity to take pictures with former UF football players.
Profits from home game events will be donated to the Sebastian Ferrero Foundation, a nonprofit organization that was founded after 3-year-old Sebastian Ferrero passed away at Shands Hospital in 2007 as a result of a medication overdose and preventable medical errors. The proceeds will be used to help the foundation fulfill its mission and establish a state-of-the-art children's hospital in Gainesville, while promoting patient safety and compassionate treatment.
