He is a seasoned search professional with a broad experience in executive search. After 7 years with Spencer Stuart he spent, about 8 years with Heidrick & Struggles as a Senior Partner.
His focus is on Industry, Life Sciences and Supply Chain, including Manufacturing, Energy, Automotive, Chemicals, Utilities. He started his executive search career in 1998 when he joined Spencer Stuart as a core member in the Industry practice. In 2005 Gabriele joined Heidrick & Struggles where he was a Partner in the Industry and Life Sciences Practices as well as in the Supply Chain Functional Practice.
He spent the first 10 years of his career in three chemical Multinationals (Du Pont, Uniroyal and Rhone Poulenc) as international sales and marketing manager, holding responsibility for geographies and strategic products in the EMEA region. In 1989 he took part in the start up of a Swedish recruiting company in Italy that within a short space of time became the market leader in its business area. Gabriele holds a degree in Agricultural Sciences and a doctorate in Phytopathology. He is fluent in Italian and English.
