G4S Technology Releases 'tap & go' Hardware for Cashless Payment System GiroVend
G4S Technology's GiroVend, the market-leading brand for cashless payment solutions, has released brand new 'tap & go' hardware.
- (1888PressRelease) December 04, 2012 - Gloucestershire, UK - The new Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) desktop reader allows the user to simply 'tap' their card against the reader to enable payment rather than inserting the card, providing a faster service to complete the transaction.

The 'tap & go' reader is available as a desktop reader for EPOS and for vending with both Multi Drop Bus (MDB) and Executive (Protocol A) options. The readers are compatible with all HID Proximity and iClass Smart access control cards.
The new hardware will be supported at sites that are running GiroVend online version 3.2R2 software as a minimum.
