G-Cube Garners Two APEX 2014 Awards for Publication Excellence
G-Cube, an industry leader in e-learning solutions, has won the APEX 2014 Awards in two categories: Best Use of Electronic Media for Training & Education and Best Use of Video Media.
- (1888PressRelease) June 28, 2014 - APEX 2014, the 26th Annual Awards for Publication Excellence, is an international competition that recognizes outstanding publications - from newsletters and magazines to annual reports, brochures and websites.
In the category of Best Use of Electronic Media for Training and Education, G-Cube showcased its work with Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (MSIL). MSIL wanted a centralized learning platform to fully cater to its training needs and track all training initiatives across the growing organization. With more than 15000 employees, the platform had to be equipped to meet the varied needs of the large workforce. G-Cube customized its proprietary WiZDOM LMS as per the needs of the client and provided more than 200 custom courses to cater to their learning needs. The solution caters to the learning needs of all MSIL employees across India - including MSIL dealers who have to be trained from time to time in order to sell the products better.
G-Cube also showcased an innovative learning solution in the category of Best Use of Video Media. G-Cube developed a whiteboard animation video for a leading UK-based gaming organization - Serious Gaming Institute (SGI). The video was incorporated as a part of a learning game. It provided suitable re-enforcement of learning within the game, enabling the learners to grasp the concepts better. With whiteboard animation, a serious concept like 'bribery' was explained and the ways of dealing with it illustrated.
On receiving the awards, CEO of G-Cube, Manish Gupta said, "We are thrilled to receive the coveted Apex Awards for Excellence 2014 and that judges have recognized our e-learning solutions for excellence in visual appeal and communication effectiveness. The 2014 awards add yet another feather in our cap. They reaffirm the leadership position that G-Cube has carved for itself in the e-learning space."
According to the APEX 2014 judges, "The awards were based on excellence in graphic design, quality of editorial content and the success of the entry in conveying the message and achieving overall communication effectiveness."
