FXBlue launches a novel, trader focused Economic Calendar
FXBlue launches its unique version of the Economic Calendar to help traders generate their next trading moves.
- (1888PressRelease) June 06, 2023 - The FXBlue Group is a leading FinTech provider to brokers in 20+ countries and also operates one of the market’s leading retail sites at www.fxblue.com which delivers free trade analytics, software and market data tools to FX traders in 200+ countries worldwide. Among the most popular features of the retail site are the sophisticated trade analytics, the trade copying software (possibly the most popular in the FX Market) and the Currency Strength indicator and Future Events Scanner. Now FXBlue has launched a brand new, novel, trader focused economic calendar.
"The economic calendar is an essential tool for traders, and we wanted traders to have all the main tools they need to make the best trading decisions. The FXBlue calendar includes live trade sentiment and the ability to study the markets by replaying market events to see how the announcements have impacted both price and sentiment.
For over 12 years we have been producing software for brokers and traders so we understand what traders look for when looking into economic events to generate their next trading moves. It is very exciting for us to finally apply our expertise to this essential tool," said John Morris, Partner at FXBlue.
Two main reasons why you'll want to use FX Blue's new economic calendar to keep track of economic events that move the markets:
* Configurable, trader focused, flexible display of the calendar
* Deeper insight into how the market reacts to events including a novel key event ‘Replay’ button
Traders can enjoy a flexible calendar display. The tool has the following sections, and traders can turn each one on and off depending on what they need according to their trading style:
* Next high-impact events for each major currency
* Overview of the coming week
* Diary-style view of the next 24 hours
* Session map, showing the next 24 hours in relation to the global trading sessions
* Chart view, plotting past and future events against candles on a trading chart
* List of future events
* List of past events
The lists of past and future events can be displayed either as a grid or as cards.
In addition to traditional filtering of the calendar, traders can display the events by impact and by currency as well as right-click or long-tap over any event to quickly apply a different filter - for example, only show USD events. And then undo that change equally quickly.
Each economic event, such as NFP, has its own page with in depth information on how the market has reacted in the past, and what it may do in future.
The market movement can be seen in detail, on multiple symbols, before and after the announcement, and also the changes in trader sentiment. And even better - there is a replay button which gives traders an even better feel for the market reaction by showing the changes in price and sentiment. This invaluable detail is available not only for the most recent event, but also for previous occurrences in the history as well.
