In May 2022, a jury headed by Alberto Alessi, Flavio Manzoni, Director of Design for Ferrari and Mauro Porcini Chief Design Officer for Pepsi will convene and select the winning projects for the awards.
In July, a public announcement of the winners will be made officially to the press and to the public in Chicago and the awards will be officially presented at an exhibition and Gala Awards Ceremony in Athens this October.
Awarded winners are published in Global Design News and in the book “Future House: The New Domestic Landscape” published by The Chicago Athenaeum and Metropolitan Arts Press.
Global Design News is a unique project-based architectural magazine launched by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design that showcases the latest in great new buildings, building elements, interiors, landscape architecture, urban planning, product design, graphics and packaging design, and fashion, as well as the visionaries that create them.
The Chicago Athenaeum is a global nonprofit education and research institute supported by its members. Its mission is to provide public education about the significance of architecture and design and how those disciplines can have a positive effect on the human environment.
