Future Electronics Supports Cure Foundation's National Denim Day for Breast Cancer Research
Future Electronics will participate in the National Denim Day campaign to support the fight against breast cancer on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.
- (1888PressRelease) May 15, 2019 - Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, will once again participate in The Cure Foundation's main fundraising effort to support the fight against breast cancer.
National Denim Day will take place on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. Future Electronics employees are encouraged to wear their jeans in support of the cause, and to make a contribution toward breast cancer research. The suggested donation is $5, and participating employees will be given a pink ribbon to show their support for the cause.
One in eight Canadian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, and 14 Canadians die from breast cancer every day.
Since it was established in 1997, National Denim Day has raised $28 million from over 400,000 individuals and 3000 organizations across Canada. The funds raised will go toward breast cancer research, medical equipment and community programs.
