Future Electronics Offers TNPW/TNPU High Stability & Precision Thin Film Chip Resistors from Vishay
Future Electronics recently announced immediate availability of Vishay's TNPW/ TNPU high stability and precision thin film chip resistors.
- (1888PressRelease) February 15, 2015 - Pointe Claire, Quebec Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, recently announced immediate availability of Vishay's TNPW/TNPU high stability and precision thin film chip resistors.
The TNPW and TNPU thin film series from Vishay are excellent choices in applications requiring precision and long-term stability. These thin film series resistors have Vishay's special passivation method to provide the component with superior moisture resistivity, tested according to the 85°C/85% biased humidity test.
In addition, they are sulfur impervious, and the AEC-Q200 qualification makes these product series an appropriate choice for important high reliability applications. The TNPW is suitable for precision down to 0.1% 10ppm, offered with 0402 to 1210 sizes. The TNPU is an extension for tighter precision, down to 0.02% 5ppm, with three package sizes, 0603, 0805 and 1206.
The TNPW series is offered with pure tin termination plating which is RoHS compliant; the series is also offered with tin-lead termination.
Applications include imaging, radar, satellite systems for avionics and military; battery management, transmission control, ECU, and power-train in automotive; computer servers, game consoles, tablets and adapters; industrial DC/DC converters, welding equipment, test and instrumentation; as well as for ultrasound probes, endoscopes, and MRI applications in the medical field.
