Fugro Roadware Launches The Aran 7000 Road Profiler
Fugro Roadware is pleased to announce the launch of the fully re-engineered ARAN 7000.
- (1888PressRelease) March 12, 2013 - The ARAN 7000 is the only portable, light-weight, hitch-mounted road profiler on the market that is able to accommodate up to 7 laser sensors for collecting rutting, texture, roughness / smoothness and faulting data with high repeatability.
As an efficient field data acquisition system, the ARAN 7000 comprises an intuitive user interface (UI) that delivers engineering reports in real-time as well as supporting GPS and video capture. Extra features include tool-less set-up and a flight-ready case to transport the profiler from one job site to the next.
Michael Nieminen, Director of Technology Development at Fugro Roadware expressed that the "ARAN 7000 meets the standards for a "Class 1" profiler as defined in ASTM E-950-94.
This makes the ARAN 7000 an ideal, cost effective, flexible and rapidly-deployed solution for any profiling project." He went on to note that "in 2012, the ARAN 7000 profiler was re-engineered, enhanced and certified by the TTI (Texas Transportation Institute)."
David Lowe, Managing Director commented, "If your pavement analysis goals change, the ARAN 7000 can be easily reconfigured to meet those goals. This high speed profiler, with stop-start-slow intelligent roughness algorithms and portable flight case, enables you to collect accurate pavement data at any speed, anywhere. "
