Fuentek Sponsoring NC FIRST Robotics Competition
Technology Consulting Firm To Serve As Team Pit Area Sponsor For High School Science And Engineering Event.

Schoppe, president of Fuentek, LLC (http://www.fuentek.com/), a local technology consulting firm that provides intellectual property and technology transfer services, has announced that the firm will be a team pit area sponsor for the NC FIRST Robotics Competition to be held Thursday, April 7 through Saturday, April 9 at Dorton Arena on the N.C. State Fairgrounds. The competition challenges teams of high school students and their mentors to solve a common problem using a standard "kit of parts" and a common set of rules. Teams are assigned 9x10 foot areas within the team pit area for working on their robots during the event.
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) engages, celebrates and inspires students as they discover that they can be successful in science and technology, and contribute meaningfully to the nation's technological enterprise.
