Laura Schoppe To Discuss How to Address Factors Inhibiting Technology Transfer.

Schoppe, will lead a briefing at the 16th U.S. Department of Defense Technology Transfer Integrated Planning Team (DoD TTIPT) Workshop on Thursday, Nov. 17 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel, located at 300 Bourbon St. in New Orleans. Schoppe's briefing, "Issues that Are Inhibiting Technology Transfer," will acknowledge and address a number of factors that can inhibit DoD technology transfer activities, such as identifying high-potential technologies and developing strategies to successfully transfer them. These strategies will include triage techniques, communications methodologies and implementable process changes.
The DoD-only workshop provides an open forum for DoD technology transfer professionals, including those the Offices of Research and Technology Application, IP attorneys, and supporting technology transfer staff, to participate in developing guidance, sharing lessons learned and best practices, resolving problem areas and developing a consensus on issues of concern.
