Marisa brings over a decade of experience from the automotive and power electronics industries, including leading the Mechanical Engineering team at Aeristech for over a year. As an ethnic minority, this is also a significant step forward in promoting diversity and inclusivity in a traditionally male-dominated industry and Marisa shatters the glass ceiling and emerges as an inspiration for women in the tech industry.

Marisa has always been a keen advocate for engineering, and diversity in engineering, winning the “Institution of Mechanical Engineer’s Young Volunteer of the Year award” in 2020 for her work in STEM, as well as being appointed to a Fellow of the Women in Engineering Society in 2021.
