Frontier Mediville Hosts Frontier Lifeline Hospital's 8th Annual Day Celebrations
Frontier Lifeline Hospital celebrated its 8th Annual Day at Frontier Mediville today. The program was inaugurated by the Guest of Honor, His Excellency David Holly, Australian Consul General for South India, Chief Guest, Professor J.S.N. Murthy, Vice Chancellor of Ramachandra Medical University and Dr. K.M. Cherian, CEO and founder of Frontier Lifeline Hospital who also gave the welcome address.
- (1888PressRelease) March 28, 2012 - The highlight of the event was the award ceremony felicitating the achievers of the year from the hospital, the convocation and the highlights of the key milestones of Frontier Lifeline Hospital during the year.
Summing up the highlights of the year at Frontier Lifeline Hospital, Dr. Ravi Agarwal and Dr. Subramaniam gave the audience a brief insight on the past year while announcing the awards for key achievers amongst the employees for the year. Dr. Sadasivan Pillai, Mediville Science Park took the audience present on a verbal tour of the developments at the centre. Talking on the occasion, His Excellency David Holly, Australian Consul General for South India said that the need for developing niche solutions to cardiac care was essential in the current environment where costs for health services were increasing making it difficult for the common man to gain access to these basic necessities. He urged for further collaboration between the two countries to further R&D in the field of cardiac care.
Ten students from Meenakshi University were given their convocation certificates by Professor J.S.N. Murthy, Vice Chancellor, Ramachandra Medical University.

Congratulating the awardees, Professor M Srinivas, Dean and Principal of Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore and Sri R.S. Munirathinam, Chairman of RMK Group of Educational Institutions stressed on the need for the medical fraternity to be abreast with the latest advancements in their respective fields. While medical institutions invest heavily in R&D, it is also paramount for them to recognize the need to update doctors and care staff on these breakthroughs. Applauding Frontier Lifeline's efforts on this front, the importance for care staff to be updated on the latest developments was also stressed.
The event also saw the staff of Frontier Lifeline showcase their talent on the stage through various cultural programs like fusion dance, traditional dance and mime programmes. There was also a song performance by Reena Raju, heart transplant patient from Frontier Lifeline hospital.
